AD7705BRZ 16-Bit Sigma-Delta ADC – Analog Devices | 2-Channel,Programmable Gain, SOIC-16
Product Description :
The AD7705BRZ, manufactured by Analog Devices, is a complete 16-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for low-frequency measurement applications. It provides a fully integrated front end that can interface directly with low-level transducer signals, removing the need for external signal conditioning components.
The device employs a Σ-Δ conversion technique to achieve 16-bit, no-missing-codes performance with a programmable gain front end (1 to 128). The selected input is applied to a proprietary modulator, then filtered through an on-chip digital filter whose notch frequency and output data rate are programmable through control registers.
The AD7705 features two fully differential input channels, operates with 2.7 V to 3.3 V or 4.75 V to 5.25 V supplies, and consumes only 1 mW at 3 V. It supports a 3-wire SPI®, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, and DSP-compatible interface, allowing flexible connection to microcontrollers and DSPs. Built-in self and system calibration eliminates gain and offset errors, ensuring high accuracy.
This ADC is ideal for use in smart instruments, embedded measurement systems, and industrial monitoring, where precision, low noise, and low power consumption are critical.
