The Mic5200-5.0YS-TR, manufactured by Microchip Technology, is a high-precision, low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator designed to deliver stable 5 V output in low-voltage environments. Housed in a compact SOT-223-3 surface-mount package, it provides excellent performance for a wide range of power supply applications.
This regulator features a dropout voltage of 200 mV (typical), allowing it to maintain regulation even when the input voltage is close to the output voltage. It supports input voltages from 2.5 V up to 26 V, with a fixed 5 V output and output current of up to 100 mA, making it suitable for powering low- to medium-power circuits.
The Mic5200-5.0YS-TR offers low quiescent current, low output noise (30 µV RMS), and excellent ripple rejection (70 dB), which makes it especially well-suited for sensitive analog and mixed-signal applications.
