Product Description:
The VIPER53SPTR-E , developed by STMicroelectronics , is a high-performance offline flyback converter IC that integrates an enhanced current-mode PWM controller with a high-voltage MDMesh Power MOSFET in a 10-PowerSO exposed pad package .
This device supports up to 300 kHz switching frequency and offers up to 65 W output power , making it suitable for a wide range of offline power supply designs. Typical applications include 30 W secondary power capability in wide-range input or 50 W in single European voltage configurations.
The VIPER53SPTR-E provides comprehensive control and protection features, including current limitation , soft start and shutdown , undervoltage lockout with hysteresis , and high-voltage startup current source . It also supports automatic burst mode for efficient standby operation and includes feedback monitoring with delayed device reset for overload and short-circuit protection.
